THE BRIEF

Produce a short film to help new Škoda, CUPRA, Audi, SEAT and Volkswagen owners understand their finance agreement.

THE STRAT

This is an incredibly important time for customers. They’re still full of positive emotions about their new car. However, some people worry about what they have signed up for and have trouble understanding their finance agreement. Our challenge was to simplify the whole process, reassure people they’d made the right choice and make everything simple and straightforward.

 

THE CREATIVE

There are car finance videos out there already but they’re a one-size-fits-all and pretty dull. We decided to make a film that was totally personalised to each customer instead.

 

We used data to find out everything from the model of their car and APR, to how many months they had left on their contract. Next, we used all that information to create a modular film unique to them.

 

We then created a cool white gallery space filled with pieces of ‘art’ made from car parts to house their details and provide moments of playfulness, as our presenter walked them through their finance plan.

 

THE RESULTS

Our customers were given a ‘Private View’ of their plan, beautifully delivered and clearly displayed. They were made to feel that VW put as much craft and expertise into curating your financial agreement as they do into creating your car.​​​​​
